Richard "Rich" McDonagh

Richard "Rich" McDonagh, age 74, of LaBolt, SD, was received by Jesus to live with our Father on March 6th, 2021.

A celebration of Rich's life will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at Milbank Calvary Church, 1210 South Highway 15, in Milbank.

Rich lived a full and joyous life, proud of his US Marine status, and was a lifetime patriot. His primary and ultimate joy was his family, as he kept each member close to his heart. He was an entertaining storyteller and loved to make people laugh. He also had a vast love of learning, and greatly enjoyed sharing his knowledge with others when possible. Rich also enjoyed sharing his Irish heritage, gathering with friends and family, cooking traditional Irish fare. He will be deeply missed.

He leaves behind: wife, Lucinda “Cindi” McDonagh; children: Melissa (Jaime) Gamez; Marsha (Keron Johnson) McDonagh; Michelle (Chris Taylor) McDonagh; Marianne (Dee DeCarlo) McDonagh; and Richard “Johnny” McDonagh; grandchildren: Johnathan (Oceana Ball) Wyatt, Kayden, Kirstyn, Kiara, Amber, and Riley; great-grandchildren: Adahlia and Magnolia; siblings: Diane McDonagh and Kevin (Joan) McDonagh;

Rich was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Delores McDonagh.
