Norma J. (Jensen) Moser found peace on December 3, 2019, at St. Williams Care Center in Milbank, at the age of 90 years.  She was the loving mother of Calvin (Linda) Moser of Milbank, SD; Marsha (Gary) Kienholz of Sioux Falls, SD; Gregg Moser (Wendy Pleau) of Shepherd, TX; and Cynthia (Donavon) Loeschke of Big Stone City, SD; proud and devoted grandmother to Caleb Moser, Lindzee (Moser) Schell, Amy (Kienholz) Sagness, Steve Kienholz, Derrick Loeschke, and Kendra (Loeschke) Rademacher; beloved great-grandmother to Kalli Moser, Bently Moser, Bradyn Moser, Adalynn Schell, Trevor Sagness, Kylie Sagness, Madilyn Loeschke, Austin Rademacher, Alix Rademacher, Ashton Rademacher;  dear sister to Delores (Stanley) Street of Milbank, SD; Lucille Johnson of Des Moines, IA; and Wayne (Margaret) Jensen of Brooklyn Park, MN. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Norma was preceded in death by her loving parents: Ray and Edith Jensen; husband, Virgil; and sister, Carol Holtz.

Norma was born on April 3, 1929, in Grant County, SD.  She was the daughter of Ray and Edith (Strain) Jensen. Norma attended country school and graduated from Revillo High School in 1947. She attended Northern State College in Aberdeen to get her teaching certificate and taught in a country school for three years; she also served as a substitute teacher at St. Lawrence School. Norma was united in marriage with Virgil Moser on June 11, 1950, at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Milbank, SD. Norma and Virgil were blessed with four children: Calvin, Marsha, Gregg, and Cynthia.  They raised their family on the family farm. Norma was a dedicated farm wife and mother. She helped Virgil with all aspects of the family farm, in addition to caring for the four children. She enjoyed and worked hard on her vegetable and flower gardens. Norma liked to crochet, embroider, knit, and cross-stitch; she made many prayer shawls. Norma made afghans for all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Norma and Virgil traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.  Together, they collected antique cups and saucers, moustache cups, and Japanese Geisha cups.  They had hundreds!

Norma was a faithful member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. She was a member of the church Circle, the Extension Club, and the Milbank Retired Teachers Association.
