Nancy (Popham) Mews, age 66, of Milbank, SD, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

Nancy Pearl (Popham) Mews was born on December 3, 1955, in Watertown, SD, to Howard Popham and Veral (Myers) Jenkins. She attended country school in Florence, SD, and graduated from Florence High School with the Class of 1973.
Following high school, Nancy furthered her studies in animal husbandry. She worked at the cheese factory in Big Stone City, SD, for a short time and worked on various dairy farms in the Milbank area.
Nancy was united in marriage with Mike Bogh and together, they welcomed a son, Michael Lee. They later divorced. Nancy married Gale Page and the two farmed with one another until they later divorced.
On September 18, 2000, Nancy was united in marriage with Victor “Ted” Mews in Milbank, SD, and she gained a daughter, Amber.
Always good with animals, Nancy enjoyed working with the various animals on the farm. She also enjoyed fishing from the shoreline and loved to go out hunting: She didn’t need to successfully hunt anything, she just enjoyed being outdoors in the fresh air.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Victor “Ted” Mews of Milbank, SD; son, Michael Lee (Jennifer) Bogh of Huron, SD; step-daughter, Amber (Craig) Fox of Brookings, SD; six grandchildren: Allen, Jayden, Monte, Emma, Chloe, Ethen, and Addison; brother, Roger (Vicki) Popham of Rogers, MN; sister-in-law, Mable Popham of Milbank, SD; along with several nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Keith Popham; and sister, Donna Cooper.
Nancy requested that no cards, flowers, or memorials in her name be sent.
