Johnnie R. Smith, Jr., age 45, of Milbank, SD, passed way on June 9, 2020.

A Celebration of Johnnie’s life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Valley Baptist Church in Milbank.

Johnnie Robert Smith, Jr. was born on June 14, 1974, in Fresno, CA, to Johnnie Smith, Sr. and Sherri (Hopper) Tullous. He graduated from Milbank High School in 1992 with honors. Johnnie enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and The Chase on Game Show Network and he knew most of the answers!

Johnnie moved back to California for 17 years then decided to move back to Milbank. He worked for Pizza Hut since August 2010, where he was part of the “A” Team. Johnnie most recently worked at Gesswein Motors.

Johnnie is survived by his mother, Sherri Tullous of Milbank; father, Johnnie Smith Sr. of California; sister, Kayla (Kevin) Kueckur of Webster, SD; brothers: Quintin (Talitha) Smith of Sioux Falls, SD; and Uriah (Bubba) Tullous of Milbank, SD; several nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; his Pizza Hut family; and his beloved dog, Lucy.
