Cooper was born April 15, 2022, on Good Friday, at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO, and weighed 3 lbs.11 oz., and was 15 inches long. Cooper is the son of Rachel (Thompson) Amiot and Matthew O’Bray of Herington, KS. During his brief visit on earth, he enjoyed listening to music, rocking and being held close by mommy and daddy, mommy singing and reading stories every morning, and having his soft feet rubbed by his daddy. He really enjoyed his droplets of milk as he did get a feeding tube at 4 days old. He always gave kissy lips as he sucked in his milk.

Cooper’s family would like to say thank you to all who supported, prayed, and loved Cooper throughout his wonderful and glorious 33 days of life. He will always be our little Mighty Mouse and forever our sunshine.

Cooper is survived by his mom and dad; brothers: Preston of Sioux Falls, SD; Parker, Presley, Chase, and Grayson of Herington KS; sister, Emma of Herington, KS; maternal grandparents: Allen and Myra (Heuer) Thompson of Stockholm, SD; paternal grandparents: Leroy and Cindy (Morgan) O’Bray of Hope, KS; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

I will not forget you for behold I have written your name on the palms of my hand
