Michael Myers

Michael James Myers, age 37, of Milbank, died on December 17, 2017, at his residence.

Services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Milbank. Rev. Tim Rynearson will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Michael James Myers was born on September 13, 1980, in Milbank, SD.  He was the son of Tom Alan Myers and Tami Kae Voeltz.  Michael grew up in Milbank and attended Milbank schools.  He worked for United Hardware.  Mike was a generous and loving father who adored his sons.  He enjoyed golfing and darts.  He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and riding 4-wheelers.

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons: Tanner and Peyton Myers, both of Milbank, SD; his father, Tom (Nancy) Myers of Milbank, SD; his mother, Tami Myers (Bob Metzger) of Anita, IA;  brothers: Daniel Myers of Pierre, SD; and Joel Myers of Milbank, SD; grandmothers: JoAnn Myers and Lola Voeltz, both of Milbank, SD; as well as many nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Orville Myers and James Voeltz.
