Michael Konshak

Michael Konshak, age 71, of Watertown, SD (formerly of Milbank) passed away on June 4, 2026.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Milbank. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass. A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery.

Michael Konshak was born on February 25, 1955, in Milbank, SD. He was the son of Eugene J. and Irene (Thomas) Konshak. Mike grew up in Milbank and attended Milbank schools. Mike lived in various places and held various jobs.

Michael was baptized and confirmed at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Milbank. He enjoyed riding motorcycles. His hobbies included playing games, cooking, camping, and model trains. He treasured time spent with his family.

Michael is survived by his mother, Irene Konshak of Milbank, SD; three children: Dean, Harlan, and Kacy; nine grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Tristan, Marissa, Alyssa, Brad, Jay, Ashlyn, Spencer, and Corie; siblings: Gail (Dennis) Adelman, Twyla Jewell, Joe (Sandy) Konshak, Tony (Kerri) Konshak, Holly (Ben) Trevathan; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene.
