Michael Dwight Chapman was born on October 22, 1986, in Milbank, SD, to Roger and Amy (Chapman) Hall. His journey on this earth, although tragically short, was filled with love, resilience, and cherished memories.
Michael was baptized into the Lutheran faith on November 23, 1986, affirming his commitment to a life of spiritual connection, further confirmed on April 29, 2001. He grew up in Marietta, MN, and attended Lac qui Parle Valley High School, graduating with the Class of 2005. Following his education, he established his roots in Montevideo and Watson, MN.
In February of 2009, Michael married Jessica Millim, with whom he welcomed four wonderful children into this world. Their bond, though later transformed through divorce, was marked by love and devotion to their children. Michael worked diligently building grain bins and contributed his skills to various manufacturing companies, embodying a strong work ethic and dedication.
Music and wrestling were among his passions, providing him a creative outlet and a source of joy. However, his greatest love was reserved for his children, along with his nieces and nephews. He found his greatest happiness in spending time with them, playing, laughing, and making memories that will be cherished forever.
Surviving Michael are his children: Alexa Larson, Kylee Larson, Taylor Larson, Mason Larson, Destinee Johnson, Kennedy Johnson, and Braden Johnson; granddaughter, Everly Enevoldsen; his parents; Roger and Amy Hall of Milbank, SD; his siblings: Eric Hall (Brandy) of Watertown, SD; Jill (Jason) Pratt of Hazel, SD; Tina (Rodney) Jankord of Twin Brooks, SD; Brandon Toutges of Madison, MN; Cody (Charity) Toutges, Sr. of Sisseton, SD; and Brad Hall of Rapid City, SD; sister-in-law, Dawn Toutges of Morris, MN; grandmother, Janice Chapman; stepdad, Vince Toutges, Sr.; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Preceding him in death were his brother, Vince Toutges, Jr.; grandfathers: Luverne “Chappy” Chapman and Fred Chapman; great-grandparents: Paul (Caroline) Parpart and Walter (Wilma) Wellnitz; uncle and aunt, Dick (Linda) Hall; several cousins and other family members; along with his very good friends who he loved like brothers: Doug Lindberg, Jr. and Sam McClenahan.
