Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Aberdeen. Pastor Matt Spoden will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the LaBolt Cemetery.

Mary Ann Glomstad Johnson was born on January 20, 1956, in Milbank, SD. She was the daughter of Russell Casper Glomstad and Catharine Mary Ahartz Glomstad.
Mary Ann grew up in the Milbank area. She was united in marriage with Erwin L. Johnson on December 18, 1976. They were blessed with two sons: Jeremy and Justin. Mary Ann and Erwin lived in Watertown, SD. Mary Ann earned her Licensed Practical Nursing degree and worked at the hospital in Watertown until 1981. The family moved to Aberdeen. Mary Ann continued her education and received her Registered Nursing Degree. She provided loving care for many years at Dakota Midland Hospital, Manor Care, and Sanford Hospital.
Mary Ann had a kind and caring heart which was evident in her nursing career. She adored her family and cared for her grandchildren for a period of time. She was selfless and always put others needs in front of her own.
Mary Ann was an avid reader and enjoyed many, many books. She liked to watch television series, especially Yellowstone and her daily soap operas. She loved to shop as often as she could! She considered her sisters-in-law: Sylvia, Dianne, and Rosalie, as true sisters and always looked forward to their group FaceTime visits. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She and Erwin enjoyed traveling, especially trips out west.
She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
Mary Ann Johnson is survived by her husband, Erwin Johnson of Aberdeen, SD; two sons: Jeremy (Amanda) Johnson of Chiloquin, Oregon; and Justin Johnson of Upland, CA; four grandchildren: Amelia, Olivia, Silas, and Sierra; one great-grandson, Thompson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Jerald Johnson and Betty Wilson of Minneapolis, MN; Daryl (Sandi) Johnson of Watertown, SD; Sylvia (David) Drake of Watertown, SD; Diane Schepker of Minneapolis, MN; Rosalie (Bill) Schaffer of Revillo, SD; Orrin (Sue) Johnson of Finley, ND; Michael (Susan) Johnson of Milbank, SD; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Glomstad.
