Martha Haack

Funeral services for Martha Haack will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2014, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton, MN with Minister Bev McNeill officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial is in the Clinton City Cemetery.

Martha Haack was born on January 24, 1917, to Fred and Freda (Wolters) Stange in Herman, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at Bethel Lutheran Church in Herman. Martha graduated from Herman High School in 1935 and then attended and graduated from Paul's Hairdressing Academy of Minneapolis.

Martha was united in marriage with Earl Francis Haack on August 28, 1943, at Bethel Lutheran Church. To this union two children were born. Martha and Earl made their home in Clinton, Minnesota, and Martha had her beauty shop in her home.

A longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton, Martha was active in the quilting group. Martha had a deep love for the outdoors, loved to fish, garden, and work with her flowers.

Martha Haack died on June 20, 2014, at Clinton Care Center, having reached the age of 97.

Cherishing her memory are her children: Dennis (Amy) Haack of Klamath Falls, OR; and Diane (George) Walker of Port Orange, FL; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren: Christopher (Woody) Walker and their son Chase of FL; and Ryan (Claire) Haack and their daughter Lillian of Portland, OR.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Earl on October 21, 1997; and her two sisters: Adeline and Ida.
