Marion Issendorf

Marion Issendorf, age 85, of Browns Valley, MN passed away on February 15, 2013, at the Browns Valley Health Care Center.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, February 19th at 10 a.m. at Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Home in Browns Valley. Rev. Paul Warnier will officiate.

Music will be provided by Kathy Issendorf, organist. Honorary bearers will be grandchildren: Torey Issendorf and Melissa Kleindl.

Marion Mae (Smith) Issendorf was born May 17, 1927, in Graceville, MN. She was the daughter of Roy and Devona (Kenyon) Smith. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She grew up north of Barry, MN and attended rural school. She was united in marriage with Russel Issendorf on August 10, 1947, in Graceville, MN.

Marion and Russel farmed together north of Beardsley, MN. They retired from farming in the mid 1960's and moved into Browns Valley. Russel passed away in 2003. Marion has lived at the Browns Valley Health Care Center for the past year.

Marion was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She loved to fish! She also enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and flowers. She especially enjoyed and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons: Dale Issendorf of Browns Valley, MN and Darrel (Kathy) Issendorf of Beardsley, MN; two grandchildren: Torey (Shelly) Issendorf of Graceville, MN and Melissa (Eric) Kleindl of Graceville, MN; four great-grandchildren: Myah Issendorf, Tylaina Issendorf, Annika Kleindl, and Sierra Kleindl; three brothers: Irvin (Darlene) Smith of Browns Valley, MN; Leonard Smith of Gillette, WY; and Erland (Marjorie) Smith of Elko, NV; two sisters-in-law: Hildred Issendorf and Pearl Issendorf.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers: Frank and Roy, Jr.
