Marcia Marie Olson

Marcia Marie “Marcie” Olson, age 78 of Milbank passed away on May 20, 2023. 

Private family services will be held.

Marcie was born on September 3, 1944, in Milbank, SD. Marcie grew up in Milbank, lived in Brookings, SD, and then in Newport, RI, for a brief time, and moved back to Milbank.  She was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary.  She enjoyed NASCAR, kitties, and spending time with her family and friends.

 Marcie is survived by her special friend, Dick Kennedy, her brother Michael Erdahl of Milbank, two children: Tammy Lard (husband Darrel) of Amarillo, TX; and Rick Van Hoorn (wife Nikki) of Harrisburg, SD; three grandchildren: Jacob Van Hoorn (wife Kay Lee), Conner Bergeron, Mike Lard; and one great grandchild, Atlas Lard.  Marcie was preceded in death by her parents: Luvern “Tex” and Thelma Erdahl; and her husband of 29 years, Dennis Olson.
