Judith Anderson

Judith Anderson, age 73, current resident of Benson and former resident of Ortonville, MN, died July 11, 2018, at Clara City Care Center, Clara City, MN.  She is the spouse of Carleton Anderson.

Services for Judith Anderson will be Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at 10:00 am at Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Home, Ortonville, MN.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday.  Pastor Paul Peterson will be officiating, and burial will take place at Mound Cemetery following the service.

Judith L. Skaarer was born on June 3, 1945, to Elvin and Lillian (Erickson) Skaarer.  She attended school in Milbank and graduated from Milbank High School in 1963.  She attended Lake Area Vo-Tech in Watertown, SD, and graduated in 1987.

Judy was a free spirit and had many traveling adventures throughout her life.  In 1987, Judy moved back to Milbank and the following year met Carleton Anderson.  They were married on April 16, 1989, and remained in the Ortonville area until 1992.  The couple then moved to Watertown, SD for 2 years then resided in Clarkfield, MN, for an additional 2 years.  In 1996, they moved to Benson, MN, where they remained until her passing.

She loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed music, photography and cooking.  Judy’s faith was devout and a very important part of her daily life.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Carleton; sister, Elaine Aden; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding her in death are her parents: Elvin and Lillian; two sisters: Doris Schwandt and Beverly Novy.
