Jennifer Ann Goodhart was born on May 23, 1988, in Milbank, SD. She was the daughter of Barbara Lunsford and George B. Goodhart. She grew up in the Wilmot area. She was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. She attended school in Wilmot and graduated with the Class of 2006 from Wilmot High School.

Jennifer was a free spirit, had a wandering soul, and loved to travel. She was creative and artistic. She had a gift of storytelling, both fact and fiction, and enjoyed journaling. She always said she “could write a book.” She had a contagious sense-of-humor and, at times, was the family comedian. Her family enjoyed her antics and never missed an opportunity to tease her in return, especially about her hairstyles. Jennifer loved all animals, especially her dog, Lucy. She adored horses and at times wanted to be a horse. She also was enchanted with unicorns.

Jennifer spent several winters in Arizona, escaping the snow and cold weather.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents: George B. (Mary Jane) Goodhart of Corona, SD; and Barbara Wollschlager of Ortonville, MN; her siblings: Matt Wollschlager of Rapid City, SD; George M. (Britni) Goodhart of Stockholm, SD; Christina Goodhart of Ortonville, MN; Alex (Amanda) Goodhart of Ortonville, MN; Andrew Wollschlager of Watertown, SD; Samantha “Sami” Wollschlager of Sioux Falls, SD; and Adam Wollschlager of Ortonville, MN; maternal grandparents: David and JoAnn Gilliland of Milbank, SD; nieces and nephews: Carter Goodhart, Liam Anderson, Leighton Goodhart, Wilder Goodhart, Gabe Wollschlager, Jaxson Wollschlager, and Taryk Wollschlager; special family members: Kurt and Sandie Westlund; Dylan and Kurtie Westlund; and aunt, Lynn Ruby.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: George and Helen Goodhart; her maternal grandfather, Gerald Lunsford; and grandparents: Tony and Mary Ann Ewalt.
