Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Milbank City Cemetery in Milbank. Rev. Timothy Koch will officiate.
Frances Munderloh, age 97, of Milbank, SD, died on April 19, 2019, at Milbank Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 20, at 2:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Milbank. Pastor Timothy Koch will officiate. Burial will be in the Milbank City Cemetery. Visitation on Saturday will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Frances (Hooth) Munderloh was born in Milbank, SD, on July 24, 1921, the daughter of Charles and Lulu (Maynard) Hooth. She married Howard Munderloh in Rapid City, SD, on May 1, 1946. They lived in Rapid City and Denver, CO. Frances moved back to Milbank in 1960 with her sons, Steve and Mark.
Frances was an entrepreneur involved in many businesses in Milbank including real estate, insurance, and tax preparation. She had very dear friends and was a blessing and help to many. People relied on her and consulted with her regarding their personal and business dealings.
Frances is survived by her son, Stephen (Vickie) Munderloh of Mobile, AL; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Lancaster of Tucson, AZ; grandsons, Alexander (Emma) Munderloh of Nashville, TN, and Charles (Emily) Munderloh of Knoxville, TN; great-grandchildren, Catherine Munderloh and Edward Munderloh; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Munderloh; brothers, Allen Hooth, Ransom Hooth, and Forgus Hooth; sisters, Marian Miller, Ilo Dohrer, Doris Dockter, and Arlene Dockter; eight nephews; and two nieces.
Memorials are preferred to: Boys Town, 14100 Crawford Street, Boys Town, NE, 68010.
