Donna Tritz

Donna Tritz, age 86 of Graceville died March 10, 2017, at Browns Valley Health Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 14 at 10:30 a.m. Father David Breu will celebrate the Mass and burial will be held at the Graceville Consolidated Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the Mass on Tuesday.

The urn bearer will be Patrick Kolling. Honorary bearers will be Donna's grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Donna Marie (Ritter) Tritz was born August 7, 1930, in Stevens County, MN. She was the daughter of Louis and Blanche (Cota) Ritter. Donna attended school in Graceville and graduated from St. Mary's Academy. She worked at Oliver Clinic in Graceville. Donna was blessed with five children: Michael, Patrick, John, Peter, and Kris. She raised her family in Graceville and also worked at Krooks Grocery Store. She was a determined and hard-working lady; a devoted and loving mother. She adored her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Donna treasured time spent with her family.

Donna was united in marriage with Donald Tritz on November 4, 1970. Donna helped on the family farm. She and Donald enjoyed their winters in Texas and summers in Battle Lake, MN and always enjoyed returning to Graceville to see family and friends. Donna enjoyed gardening and flowers, especially roses.

Donna is survived by her husband, Donald Tritz of Graceville, MN; three children: Michael (Jill) Kolling of Springfield, MO; Patrick (Vicki) Kolling of St. Cloud, MN; and Kris Kolling of California; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill (Judy) Ritter of New Richland, MN; one sister, Joanne (Milo) Tritz of Dumont, MN; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons: John and Peter Kolling; and one brother, Jim Ritter.
