Delores Buck

SERVICES FOR DELORES HAVE BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FRIDAY, MARCH 9, 2018 AT 2:00 PM.  VISITATION WILL BE HELD ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE SERVICE AT EMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH.

Delores Buck, age 80, of Milbank died February 27, 2018, at St. William’s Care Center.

Delores C. R. (Wiese) Buck was born on January 22, 1938, in Appleton, MN.  She was the daughter of Roy and Laurene (Bower) Wiese.  She attended school in Correll, MN through the eighth grade.  She attended Appleton High School and graduated with the Class of 1956.  Delores was united in marriage with Vernon John Buck on July 23, 1960, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Bellingham, MN.

Delores worked at the St. Hubert Hotel in Milbank for nine years.  She later worked for Whetstone Valley Nursing home for nine years.  She was a faithful member of Emanuel Lutheran Church.  Delores enjoyed gardening and canning her produce.  Vernon died on October 6, 2002.  Delores shared a special friendship with Ralph Schmidt.

Delores is survived by siblings: Emil Wiese of Watertown, SD; Ruth Danielson of Longlane, MO; and William Wiese of Boulder City, Nevada; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
