Deiza Schwarze

Funeral services for Deiza Schwarze will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Ortonville, Minnesota. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, March 20, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, with a 7:00 PM prayer service at the Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Home of Ortonville. Rev. Dennis O'Neill will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. John's Cermetery in Alban Township.

Deiza Rosella Schwarze was born in Milbank, South Dakota, to Theodore and Frieda (Strube) Zielike on February 13, 1947. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Alban Township, outside of Big Stone City, South Dakota. Deiza graduated from Big Stone High School in 1965 and attended and graduated from Huron College in Huron, South Dakota.

On October 19, 1968 Deiza and David Schwarze were united in marriage at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Ortonville, Minnesota. They made their home in the Big Stone City area. She was employed by the Big Stone Cheese Factory in the business office for many years.

Deiza enjoyed reading and collecting antiques.

Deiza passed away on March 17, 2012, having reached the age of 65.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, David, of Big Stone City; her daughter, Dawn (Parker) Severson of Iowa City, Iowa; her brother, Kenneth (Linda) Zielike of Big Stone City; her sisters-in-law: LaVonne (Merlin) Perseke of Fergus Falls, Minnesota and Carol (Ken) Dahlgren of Estes Park, Colorado; and her brothers-in-law Duane (Jean) Schwarze of Blaine, Minnesota and Loren (Linda) Schwarze of St. Peter, Minnesota; and her nieces and nephews.

Deiza is preceded in death by her parents.
