Craig "Johnny" Johnson

Craig “Johnny” Johnson, age 70, of Milbank, SD, passed away on April 5, 2023, at his home.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at the Speedway Event Center. All friends and family are welcome.

Craig Harlin Johnson was born January 20, 1953, in Milbank to Carl “Stretch” and Shirley (Fenhaus) Johnson. He graduated from Milbank High School in 1971. Craig was united in marriage to Joyce Giessinger on August 26, 1972. They had two children, Valerie and Brandon.

Craig was employed by Dakota Granite Quarry. He retired at the age of 62, after 42 years of employment.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce; daughter, Valerie (Jason) Foss of Lennox, SD; and son, Brandon of Milbank; two grandchildren, Halie (Parker) Van Zee of Sioux Falls, and Zachary Foss of Lennox, SD; one great-granddaughter Camryn Van Zee; sister, Jewel Porter of Corona, SD.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Brent.
