Amanda Bertelson

Amanda Bertelson, age 61, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on January 23, 2022. A memorial service was held at Haygood United Methodist church in Virginia Beach, VA, on February 26, 2022.

Amanda Carol Bertelson was born on February 5, 1960, at Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, MD, to Norris and Nancy (Wood) Bertelson of Marvin, SD.

Amanda spent her entire life living in Virginia Beach, VA. She graduated from Bayside High School and went on to attend Thomas Nelson Community College and Norfolk State University.

Amanda took many short trips including visits to Marvin, SD, Annapolis, MD, Leesburg, VA, and Lake Tahoe, CA to visit cousins.

Amanda is survived by her brother, David Bertelson of Milbank, SD; sister, Janet (David) Burton of Virginia Beach, VA; nephews: Patrick Burton, Thomas Burton, Matthew Haines and James Haines; nieces: Christina Haines and Faith Haines.
