June Julius

June Julius, age 67, of Milbank, SD, died on March 20, 2019, at Milbank Area Hospital-Avera Health.

Funeral services for are scheduled for Saturday, March 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church in Milbank.  Rev. Thom Bowsher and Kristy Liebe will officiate.  Visitation will take place Friday, March 22 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Mundwiler Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Big Stone City, SD.

June Margaret Julius was born on May 25, 1951, in Ortonville, MN. She was the daughter of John and Mildred (Mason) Julius.  June lived her whole life in the Ortonville and Milbank areas and graduated from Milbank High School with the Class of 1969.

June had a strong faith and was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Milbank.  As a church member, she volunteered her time helping others wherever needed.  She enjoyed bowling, trips to the casino with her brother, Eddie, and playing cards with friends.  Ultimately, June loved spending time with her granddaughters.  June was employed as the Customer Service/Office Supervisor at United Hardware for over 30 years.

June is survived by her son, Jason (Amy) Julius of Castlewood, SD; grandchildren: Kora, Gracie, Nyah, and Sophia; siblings: John Julius of Watertown, SD; Dorothy (Wesley) Kirkpatrick of Chamberlain, SD; Helen (Donald) Dyke of Farmington Hills, MI; and Eddie Julius of Milbank, SD; nephews: Richard Kirkpatrick, Ronald Kirkpatrick, Randy Kirkpatrick, and Bradley Dyke; and niece, Erika Dyke.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, William Julius.
