Stanley Lawrence Palluck Jr. was born on September 6, 1947, in Anoka, MN.  He was the son of Stanley Lawrence Palluck Sr. and Betty Mattson.  He attended school in north Minneapolis and graduated from Anoka High School in 1965.  After school, he went into the business of cartage around the Minneapolis and surrounding area.  He later went on to do over-the-road trucking.  He earned his one million miles and had the opportunity to drive on the Alaskan Highway.  Stan visited every state in the nation except for Hawaii.

Stan opened and operated an autobody and a car frame repair shop; he really loved to work for himself and actualized many of his dreams.  He started work for Royal Insurance as an insurance adjuster which brought him to Milbank, SD.  He later went on to create his own independent adjusting firm.  Toward the end of his career, he worked for ASI Insurance Adjusting Company, as a satellite adjuster.

Although Stan did many things to earn a living, he liked to enjoy many hobbies as well.  He liked to hunt deer, goose, and bighorn sheep in the Rocky Mountains.  Stan took an interest in bowling in his late 40’s; he was awarded for his three perfect games, attaining the score of an 806 in a series, and earning a place in the Bowler’s Hall of Fame in St. Louis, MO.  After accomplishing his 806 score, Stan received a letter from the United States Olympic Bowling Team asking him to try out for the team.

Left to cherish his memory are his significant other, Deb Vickerman; Deb’s children: Michelle Johnson of Sauk Rapids, MN; and Sean (Becky) Nies of Afton, MN; Deb’s grandchildren: Sydalee, Taylor, Lincoln, and Tira; Stan’s mother, Betty Palluck of Foreston, MN; a brother, David J. Palluck of Maple Grove, MN; and a sister, Sandra Palluck.

Preceding Stan in death are his father and brother.
