Earl “Spindy” Beilke, age 86, of Corona, SD, died on Sunday, January 20, 2019, at Milbank Care and Rehabilitation Center.
A private family burial will take place at a later date. In fulfillment of Spindy’s wishes, no public services will be held.
Earl Franklin “Spindy” Beilke, was born on November 23, 1932, to Norbert “Bert” and Erma (Seehafer) Beilke. He attended school in Corona, SD, and was a 1950 graduate of Corona High School. Spindy was a proud Corona Midget.
Spindy was united in marriage with Nina Kosse. They were later divorced.
Spindy was a farmer and spent almost his entire life living and farming on the family farm just north of Corona. He was a sports fan and in his younger years played baseball and basketball. Spindy liked to drive around the area and visit with people. He was always willing to help others.
Spindy is survived by his sister, Elaine Porter; niece, Carrie Tschetter; and nephews: Burt Porter, Marty Porter, and Rich Porter.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Bert and Erma; and nephew, Keith Porter.
The family has asked that any memorials be directed to the Corona Fire Department and Community Center.
