Roland A. Judish the son of Alfred and Elsie (Yost) Judish was born February 14, 1925 in Sisseton, South Dakota. Roland grew up in Roberts County on his family’s farm. He was baptized February 17, 1925 at Zion Lutheran Church in Browns Valley, MN and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wendom Township in Roberts County. He attended school in Rosholt, South Dakota .
Roland was united in marriage to Jennie Gauer June 14, 1947. They made their home on a farm place in South Dakota, then in 1949 moved on the home place west of Beardsley where they farmed. From this union they were blessed with three daughters, Betty, Beverly and Doris. Roland and Jennie entered the Grace Home in 2000. Jennie passed away April 9, 2003.
Roland enjoyed taking his family fishing, playing cards, working on his tractors, drinking coffee with friends and visiting, his dogs especially Pugs and Goldie. He loved his family and spending time with them. Roland went to meet his Lord Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Graceville Health Center in Graceville.
He is survived by his daughters, Betty (Mike) Light of South Minneapolis, Beverly Kruger of Young America, MN, Doris (Michael) Sale of Jeffers, MN; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister Vera (Ralph) Rothrock of Mt. Vernon, WA.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jennie; and grandson Mike Schwartz.
