Pauline was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 4, 1927 to parents Joe and Marie Kwiatkoski. She attended school in Minneota, MN, completing the eighth grade. The happiest day of Pauline?s life was the day that she married Jim Pesek on June 28, 1947 in Wilno, MN. To this union four children were born. Pauline celebrated forty-four years together before his death in 1991.



Pauline was a homemaker all of her life and was a very kind and loving mother to her children. She was a wonderful cook and baker for her family. Pauline was known for being very colorful and talkative throughout her life. She was devoted to her Catholic faith, often praying the rosary three time in a day and participated in the Christian Mothers.



Pauline entered Sunnyside Care Center in Lake Park, MN on August 5, 1991 where she lived until her passing on Wednesday, March 29, 2006. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Kwiatkoski; her mother, Marie Kwiatkoski; her husband, Jim Pesek; her son, Bob Pesek; her grandson, Troy Pomerenke and great-grandson, Dane Banken.



She is survived by one son, Mick (Stacey) Pesek of Honolulu, HI; two daughters, Marilyn (Jerry) Laney of Scottsdale, AZ and Colleen Banken of Minnetonka, MN; nine grandsons, Brent Pomerenke of Scottsdale, AZ, Chad (Janet) Banken of Ham Lake, MN, Scott (Lisa) Banken of Andover, MN, Chris Pesek of Lake Park, FL, Jamey (Michelle) Pesek of Moorhead, MN, Matt (Jenny) Pesek of Fargo, ND, Tom (Lori) Laney of New Rockford, ND, Tim (Shannon) Laney of Fargo, ND, and Brain Laney of Fargo, ND; one grand daughter, Jill (mark) Larson of Zimmerman, MN; one brother, Dick (Helen) Kay of Medford, MN, one sister, Dilly Pierce of Owatonna, MN; eight great-grandsons ; four great-granddaughters; and many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
