Norma Paulsen

March 22, 1912 — January 11, 2007

Norma Mary Kenyon was born on March 22, 1912 to parents Charles and Lena (Henrich) Kenyon in Lincoln, Nebraska. The family moved to the Graceville area, where Norma lived most of her life. On November 19, 1934, Norma was united in marriage to Bernard Francis Paulsen in Barry, MN. To this union were born five children; Delores, Kenny, Kathleen, Janis, and Sherry. Norma and Bernard celebrated sixty-three loving years of marriage together.

Norma enjoyed gardening and growing anything and everything she could from flowers to vegetables. She made several patchwork quilts for her family and even sewed clothes for her grandchildren. One of Norma's favorite activities was playing her guitar. She was never afraid to speak her mind and often times got her way. One of her favorite activities was to ride around on the back of a snowmobile and look at Christmas lights, in her later years this changed to using a warm car but the love of twinkling lights was ever present.
