Lorraine Bergseth

Lorraine Elizabeth Bergseth was born May 30, 1924 to Lars and Elizabeth (Johnson) Bergseth. She was baptized and confirmed at Eids Lutheran Church and was a member there until the dissolution of the church in 1962; she then became a member of First English Lutheran Church in Ortonville.



Lorraine attended District #49 country school. She was a waitress for many years at the Hilltop restaurant in Ortonville. Lorraine enjoyed crossword puzzles and also liked to do latch hook projects.



Lorraine died on August 6, 2008, at Ortonville Health Services living to reach the age of 84 years.



Lorraine is survived by 3 brothers: Homer Bergseth of Ortonville, Edward Bergseth of Ortonville, Harold Bergseth of Ortonville; 3 sisters: Deloris Bergseth of Ortonville, Hazel Bergseth of Ortonville, and Muriel Olson of Alexandria, MN; nieces: Ethel (Garry) Swenson of Ortonville, Judy Roberts of Big Stone City, SD, Sherri Skorezewski of Aberdeen, SD, and Jennifer ( Michael) Endelle of Minneapolis, MN; nephews, Wade (Michelle) Swenson of Buffalo, MN, Eric (Terry) Olson of Castine, Maine, and Andrew (Victoria) Jergenson of Glenwood, MN.



Lorraine in preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and five brothers.



Arrangements are with Larson Funeral Home in Ortonville, MN.
