January Bolduc, the daughter of Raymond and Rita (Zqutowicz) Feela, was born on February 1, 1951 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. She was baptized at Incarnation Catholic Church. January grew up in South Minneapolis and attended and graduated from West High School in 1969. January was married one month after she graduated, to this union; they were blessed with two children, a daughter, Kimberly, in 1970 and a son, Brian, in 1973.
January attended the Minneapolis 911 Operator Training Program in 1997, ProSource Real Estate Education and Hutchinson Technical Institute in 2006.
January was employed as a legal secretary at Jerome Blatz Law Office in Minneapolis from February 1988 to September 1997. She also was an Emergency Road Dispatcher from May 1994 to September 1997. From September 1997 to May 2000, January worked as a 911 Emergency Operator.
In 2000, January moved to Ortonville, MN and worked as a loan officer at CenBank from August 2000 to May 2001. Then in May of 2001 to February of 2008, January served as the Prime Timers Director/Customer Service Rep for Minnwest Bank. January so enjoyed her trips with the Prime Timers and always came home with fun stories to share with her family.
January enjoyed the lake, fishing and camping with her family and friends. She was creative in writing poems and letters. She was good at decorating and doing crafts. January enjoyed music and dancing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
January died peacefully Sunday morning, August 23, 2009, at the Ortonville Area Heath Services, while a new baby’s first cries were heard across the hall. January had lived to reach the age of 58. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly (Jeromy) Flom of Ely, MN and Brian Bolduc of Waconia, MN; four grandchildren, Jessica and Ashley Bastable, Jackson and Charly Grace Flom; sisters, Marcia (Tommy) Hymes of Eagle, CO, Laurie Feela of Ely, MN; brothers, Darrell (Judy) Feela of Burnsville, MN, and Bruce (Jacque) Feela of Orr, MN; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by father, Raymond Feela; mother, Rita Feela.
