Eldeen Mundy

Eldeen J. Hagen was born on July 17, 1936, to Ingvald and Lillian (Anderson) Hagen in Kennedy, MN. Eldeen grew up in a large family and was very fond of all of her siblings. Eldeen was united in marriage to Lenole Mundy on August 8, 1959 at Zion Lutheran Church. To this union, they were blessed with two sons: Mitchell and Terry.
Eldeen was a very caring wife, mother, and grandmother. Rarely would you ever see her without a smile on her face. The joy of Eldeen’s life was definitely her wonderful grandchildren. In the last few days, her sons have thought of all of the good times growing up together. The past couple years were tough on her family as Eldeen’s health began to decline.
Eldeen’s family is trying to put the past tearful times out of their minds and think of all the good that was in her for over 70 years.
Eldeen passed away on August 27, 2009 in the Twin Cities having lived to reach the age of 73 years.
Eldeen is survived by her sons: Mitchell Mundy and Terry (Carol) Mundy; several grandchildren; siblings: Lorraine Broten, Ivan (Anne) Hagen, Joyce (Paul) Host, Dwight Hagen, Delmont (Margaret) Hagen; sister-in-law Dee Hagan, brother-in-law Charles Schied; and many nieces and nephews.
Eldeen in preceded in death by her husband, Lenole Mundy; grandson Michael Mundy; parents: Ingvald Hagen and Lillian Anderson; brothers: Gordon Hagen and Ronald Hagen; sister Patti Schied; brother-in-law Omer Broten.
