Donna Zenk

Donna Ann Zenk, the daughter of Norbert and Helen (Christensen) Zenk was born April 18, 1952 In Springfield, MN. She lived with her family in Springfield on a farm until they moved 5 miles east of Clinton in March of 1953. Then in March of 1963 they moved 1 mile south of Clinton. She was baptized in Springfield, MN and confirmed at Holy Rosary Catholic Church March 26, 1995. Donna attended Clinton and Ortonville School in Special Ed Class and graduated from Ortonville. Donna was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Special Olympics.



Donna lived with her parents in Clinton until her move to Divine House for Women in Clinton, MN. in 2000. She loved her roommates and the staff (her bosses!) and enjoyed going on their many outings and shopping trips.



Donna loved her work at Main Street Industries in Clinton and talked a lot about her favorite jobs of folding the bulletins weekly for Holy Rosary Church as well as the news letters for Clinton State Bank. She worked at community job sites in Clinton, Graceville and Ortonville.



Donna enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, playing cards, board games, word search puzzles and loved to paint.



Donna dearly loved her family. She lovingly referred to her siblings as “my dear brother” and “my dear sister”. She was everyone’s friend and a kind and gentle person.



Donna left us Saturday, November 6, at the Grace Home in Graceville, MN with her family by her side. She will be missed by all her family and many friends.



She is survived by her: sister, Delores Zenk of Prattville, AL; brother, Kenny (Vicki) Zenk of Clinton, MN; nieces, nephews, and a great-niece and nephew.



She is preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Norbert; and nephew Jason.
