Chad Ritter was born on August 19, 1971, in at the Holy Trinity Hospital in Graceville, MN, to parents, Ronald and Vicki (Selness) Ritter. As a young boy, Chad attended grade school in Graceville before moving with his family to Washington State where he finished his education.
Following school, Chad began working with his uncle installing Underground Utilities. Chad enjoyed spending time with family and friends and treasured the memories he made on his hunting trips. Chad truly had a passion for eagles and enjoyed learning about them and even the opportunity to see them. Following an accident, Chad moved back to Graceville, MN, where he lived with his Aunt Carol Sanasack for one year before moving to Wheaton, MN.
Chad passed away on Friday, December 16, 2005, at the St. Mary?s Regional Health Center in Detroit lakes, MN, reaching the age of 34 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Vicki Ritter; paternal and maternal grandparents; as well as several aunts and uncles.
Chad is survived by his sister, Charlene (Jeff) Kane; brother, Derek Ritter; aunts and uncles, Carol Sanasack and Alan Buller; David Ritter, Todd (Beth) Ritter; Marilyn and Dennis Menge; and Jeanine and Curt Pederson; as well as many other family and friends.
