Boyd Elmer Beyer was born on January 4, 1966 in Morris, MN to parents Earl and Evelyn (Athey) Beyer. Boyd was baptized on January 30, 1966 by Rev. Victor Schmidt at Faith Lutheran Church in Morris, MN. He was confirmed on May 10, 1981 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alberta by Rev. Phil Boe. Boyd attended the Chokio-Alberta High School where he graduated in 1985.
On July 11, 2009, Boyd was united in marriage to Stacey Kehoe. They made their home in Johnson, MN. Boyd was a kind hearted person who loved all living things. He would bring home any stray or wounded animal and tirelessly try to nurse them back to health. He also enjoyed snowmobiling; he was a handyman of all trades.
Boyd especially loved his family and was so happy to have married the love of his life. He was a friend, a son, a brother, a father, a grandfather, a husband, and most of all, someone you would never forget once you had the privilege of meeting him. Boyd’s contagious laugh and smile will be remembered by his family and friends.
Boyd is survived by his wife Stacey of Johnson, MN; parents Earl and Evelyn Beyer of Morris, MN; children: Alexis Beyer of Warroad, MN, Chaz Beyer of Alexandria, MN, Jessica Beyer of Boise, ID, Jacob Beyer of Boise, ID, Alexis Kehoe of Johnson, MN and Skylar Kehoe of Johnson, MN; one granddaughter Avenna Hoy of Warroad, MN.; sister Janet Johnson of New Mexico; brother Kevin and wife Karen Beyer of Alexandria, MN; grandmother, Laura Beyer of Morris, MN; sister-in-law, Lynn and husband Jeremy Reich of Benson, MN; mother-in-law Barb and husband LeRoy Athey of Clinton, MN; father-in-law, Greg Kehoe and special friend Dorene of Graceville, MN; niece, Sadie Reich; nephews, Cody Beyer, Cody Reich and Dusty Reich.
