Anne Margaret Peterson, the daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Petek) Pucel was born July 22, 1915 in Ely, MN. She attended school in Chicago and northern Minnesota.
On August 4, 1940 she was united in marriage to Phil Peterson. They made their home in Ortonville, MN, where they owned and operated the Ben Franklin store until their retirement in 1984.
Anne was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ and active in the Faith Circle. She belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary in Big Stone City, South Dakota, the Ortonville Eastern Star, and Citizens for Big Stone Lake.
She is survived by her son, James of Golden, Colorado; daughter, Phyllis Anne (Peterson) Stapp of Minneapolis, MN.
She is preceded in death by parents; husband, Phil Peterson; and eight brothers and sisters.
