In July of 2005, we opened the doors to our new modern facility. That day brought the realization of our vision to provide a warm, comfortable environment where families may say good-bye to their loved ones with the comfort and respect that they deserve.
The fully handicapped accessible building complete with ample parking and a covered car port, offers a welcoming lobby, funeral merchandising center, lounge and children's play room, as well as an outside courtyard. The facility is warm and inviting and offers several comfortable areas to gather with family and friends.
The main chapel features a spacious yet intimate space filled with comfortable seating for 150, special lighting, and state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment for sharing video or music tributes that truly personalize the service of a loved one.
On display in the glass carriage house outside of the facility is the beautiful 1890 restored horse drawn hearse.
At Mundwiler and Emanuel-Patterson Funeral Homes, we know that it takes more than just a building to serve families, but we are excited to be able to offer the families of Milbank, Big Stone City and the surrounding area a brand new facility, where service will be, as always, second to none.
